　　Rice mills are engaged in production of boiled, steam and raw rice. The major energy forms used in the cluster are electricity and fuels like firewood, GN shell and rice husk. The fuels are used in the boilers and dryers. Majority of the rice mills in the cluster are producing ponni rice and require thermal energy in the form of steam and hot air. The rice mills that needs our 15 ton biomass steam boiler combines a number of operations that produces higher quality and higher yields of rice from paddy. The process involves: soaking, cooking and drying. The biomass steam boiler manly used in the process of cooking and drying. The soaked paddy is cooked by direct injection of steam to the paddy. The boiler is of water tube, rice husk fired and biomass pellets fired boiler. The boiler could operated for 24 hours in a day and steam generated is used for paddy cooking by directly injecting the steam. SZL series biomass steam boilers burn rice husks with superior environmental performance and low pollution emissions. Uniform heat transfer in the furnace, high heat recovery efficiency and stable operation.
